Park Lane by CMP
In May 2008, Park Lane by CMP opened to the public. This partnership project of the CMP and Eslite Groups created a building that fits naturally into the surrounding green area that covers more than thirty thousand square meters. The building has an indoor vertical garden with 140 000 plants, and other design elements such as natural lighting and is integrated with the nearby Calligraphy Greenway and Civic Square. Park Lane by CMP received the 2009 FIABCI-Taiwan Prix d’ Excellence Awards and represented Taiwan in 2010 to enter the "Oscar" of the real estate industry, the FIABCI World Prix d' Excellence Awards. Park Lane by CMP has become an attraction for visitors from abroad, showcasing Taiwan's creativity and green concepts on the global stage.
In addition to nature and fashion, Park Lane by CMP is dedicated to creating a hot spot for central Taiwan's culture and creative activities. It houses Eslite Bookstore's flagship location, which sells a huge collection of books and offers comfortable reading environment. Themed events and exhibitions are hosted regularly for the public to easily access arts and culture, in the hopes of planting more seeds of creativity and culture in the general public. In the retail area, visitors can find a diverse array of goods, from the latest world renowned designer fashions to items synonymous with pop culture. Park Lane by CMP introduces a new shopping experience to Taiwan; here in Park Lane by CMP, visitors can feel that green design can be fashionable and shopping can be easy.
Park Lane by Splendor
Park Lane by Splendor shopping mall is located from B1 to the sixth floor of the Splendor Hotel Taichung. It is a hybrid mall with stores selling quality products, handicrafts, and great food.
The shopping mall is located near the Taiwan Boulevard business district and within easy access to the National Museum of Natural Science and the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts. The location is easily accessible and near the National Museum of Natural Science bus stop. Visitors can rent iBike on the ground floor plaza and take a ride around Calligraphy Greenway. The shopping mall satisfies your sightseeing, shopping, and art appreciation needs.
Each floor offers a unique look and feel. Both exteriors and interiors were designed by the famed architect Ray Chen, and offer an atmosphere of comfort and good taste. This shopping mall houses restaurants, lifestyle stores, fashion boutiques, and refined crafts shops, plus the indoor playground “Kidsburgh”.
Activities and events are held regularly, such as a weekend Farmers' Market, which advocates eating locally grown and seasonal foods. Live music is hosted to promote the idea of living with music. These events add to the mall's vitality.
